About Mr Roofer
Welcome to Mr Roofer’s blog, the official blog for Rooftherm covering all aspects of roofing and polyurethane spray foam, mainly used for roof insulation. Please feel free to contact Mr Roofter and put your roofing problem to him. He will do his best to provide a roofing solution that is long lasting and low cost cus he wants you to save your money so you can either pay more to your favourite charity or buy your mother or girlfriend or wife flowers.
Mr Roofer is an expert in all roofs having been in the construction industry longer than he cares to remember. Rumour has it that he completed a carpentry apprentice back in 1972! Over his time he has overseen major roofing contracts and seen the birth of the spray foam polyurethane industry from tests done back in 1975, the appearance of the technology on Tomorrow’s World in 1977 to today when Polyurethane Spray Foam has become an established and growing part of the UK construction scene.
Mr Roofer can have his brains picked about: roof construction, traditional rafter construction to modern truss rafter designs; roof cladding, tiles, slates, plastics, felts; polyurethane spray foam applications, types of foam, U values, (and reciprocal R values, or K values): ventilation and condensation, costings and energy efficiencies, cost benefit analysis; insulation methods, thermal, sound and materials; and probably also the latest Aston Villa results too!
The aim of Mr Roofer is to provide a roofing insulation service to the whole of the UK that is low cost and affordable and is done right, specified correctly and installed correctly. So, please feel free to comment (you don’t have to agree with him!) or put your roofing and insulation questions to him.
